He was predeceased by: his parents, George Diel and Sarah Diel (Tate); his sister Josephine Morrison; his granddaughter Tiffany Shirel; his parents-in-law, William and Grace Rickman; his brother-in-law Raleigh Morrison; and his son-in-law Jerry Flewallen.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Diel; his daughters, Denise Norris (Robert) of Pryor, Oklahoma and Deon Anders (Coy) of Pryor, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Tara Robinson (Chanyon) of Elton, Devanae Anders of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jamie, David, Alyssa, Moses, Adrianna, Whitney, Stuart, Jessica, Ashley, Rocky, Alexa and Cameron. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Graham Memorial Cemetery.
