Gordonna Ferne Chaney Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 23, 2022, at the age of 90, Gordonna Ferne Chaney (Pryor, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Bates and Maude Bates (Stout); her husband Topper Chaney; her son-in-law Jim Grayson; her granddaughters, Molly and Maggie Boston; and her sisters, Virginia Gilliam, Maxine Burns, Pauline Burroughs, Georgia Bates and Emmadean Torres.

She is survived by: her former spouse Russell Edward Chaney (Topper); her children, John, Becky Boston (Chaney), Rusty and Jan Chaney; her grandchildren, Matt, Angie Boston, Zac, Leslie Kemp, Brandon, Casey Mote (Chaney) and Carley Moore (Chaney); her great grandchildren, Henry Moore, Russell, Carson Mote, Ian, Ayden, Zane Kemp, Braden and Gabe Boston; and her nieces and nephews, Suzy Cannon, Nancy Suda, Nancy Burns, Tony English and Mark English.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, 3800 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
