He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hough Jr. and Lura Lee Hough (Groves); his sister Susan Pennington (Hough); his wife Rose Marie Hough (Long); his children, Christian (Tara Williams), Jessica (Jesse Smith), Matthew Hough, Jay (Courtney Hough) and Julien Hough; and his stepchildren, Elizabeth Miller, Crystol, Charlie Samford, Victoria and Craig Hodgson.
He is survived by: his brother Terry (Sandra Hough); Myra Longcrier-Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rice Funeral Service (631 E Will Rogers Blvd, Claremore, OK 74017).
His contributions to various projects and his involvement in associations within the welding community showcased his commitment to excellence in his profession.
