He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Joice and Geneva Joice (Yoder); his wife Imogene Joice; his daughter Linda Harvey; his siblings, Charles Joice, Ben Franklin Joice, Mary Hutchinson and Vina Mae Englebright; his children-in-law, Barbara Joice and Billy Jo Flowers; and his great grandchild Shya McDaniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Joice and John Joice Jr.; his daughter-in-law Frances Joice; and his grandchildren, Nathan Leon Barnes (Marlena), Julie Philbin (Kevin), Robert Carter (Lenzey), Chad Joice (Wendy), Misty Avei (Ace) and Melinda Phillips (Scott). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
