She was predeceased by : her parents, John G. Watt and Edith Watt (Purdin); her siblings, Paul Watt, Wayne Watt, Laverne Watt, Marion Shumaker and Pat McBrien; and her son Robert Vernon (Duane).

She is survived by : her husband Robert H. Vernon; her siblings, Donald Watt and Virginia Hanes; her son Mike (Juanita Vernon); and also, Shauvan Vernon and Marsha (Danny Gross). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
