She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schardein and Hope Schardein (LaMunyon); her husbands, Dub Ailey and Dan Shirley; her brother Robert Schardein; her daughter-in-law Deborah Metheny Ailey; and her grandsons, Jeremiah Joseph Ailey and Nicholas Kai Ailey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ailey, Terri Barrus (Jeff), Nick Ailey (Tonja Johnson) and Darla Metheny. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
