He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Newby and Bertha Newby; his wife Earline Newby; his brother Ides Newby; and his great grandchild Bailey.

He is survived by : his sons, Terry Newby (Renee) of Spavinaw, Randy Newby of Spavinaw, Stewart Newby (Debra) of Spavinaw and Scott Newby (Connie) of Spavinaw. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
