She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Edwards and Ruby Burns (Haggarty); her husbands, Norman Thompson and Luther "Luke" Brashears of Children's Evangelism Foundation; her stepfather Noel Burns; her son Tim Thompson; and her brother Riley Edwards, II.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Thompson of Pryor, Oklahoma and Ranee Littledave (Michael) of Salina, Oklahoma; and her brother Johnny Gifford (Joyce Philpot) of Spavinaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shipman's Funeral Home (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361). A wake was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
