He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nixon; and his children, Gary Nixon (Pam), Ulonda Bell (Ray), Sherry Nixon (Kenny Jacobson) and John Nixon. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Stephens - Key Chapel (1525 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361).
