She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hampton and Opal Hampton (White); her husband Bobby Chidester; her son Robert Chidester; her daughter-in-law Louetta Chidester; and her siblings, T. R. Mead, William Hampton, Mary Puckett and Judy Simms.
She is survived by: her son Carrol Chidester (Tammy Wilson); and her sisters, Opal Sanderson of Sulphur Springs and Rhonda Pickney of Durant, Oklahoma. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
