It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Dwayne Yelton of Purcell, Oklahoma is shared. Robert, born on October 26, 1954, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Lester" Yelton and Barbara Jean Yelton (Woody); and his brother Donald Eugene Yelton. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, Bradley (Courtnie), Christopher (LaWanda) and Scott (Rikkie); his sister Jean Anne Cox; his grandchildren, Aron, Sawyer (Dina), Justin, Matthew, Connor, Dylanie, Joshua, Brady, Derryk and Dawsyn; his great grandchildren, Kayce and Logan; and his aunt Betty Ruth Barnett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hilton Norman Hotel & Conference Center (2501 Conference Dr, Norman, OK 73069).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association would be appreciated.
