He is survived by: his wife Carol Brown; his children, Paul Brown, Nancy Brown Liles, Charles Brown, Patrick Brown and Annette Westerman (Jason); his grandchildren, Jennifer Dailey (Robert), Steven Liles, Barbara Brown, Zachary Brown, Nathan Westerman and Nicole Westerman; his great grandchildren, Adelyn and Wyatt; and his grandmother Wilkerson. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

“Annette and I were friends in high school. My dad, Jim Williams, and I attended First Baptist Church of Purcell when Wayne was pastor. He was the one that baptized me when I was 13 and I am forever grateful for his ministry. He was always uplifting and an all around great man. I just want the family to know I’m praying for them and after all these years they still hold a special place in my heart and I’m sure many others.”
