It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harry Everett Edwin Sturgis (Ravia, Oklahoma), born in Locustville, Virginia, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ann Sturgis; his parents, Ada Killmon Sturgis Tucker and Harry Thomas Sturgis; and his sisters, Labelle S. Pruitt Tyndall and Marian E. Sturgis Colonna.
He is survived by: his daughters, MaLissa Carlene Sturgis and LaTressa Arlene Woods (Ronald A. Woods, MD); his grandchildren, Zshona Workman, Skylar Woods, Carlissa Oâ, Conner, Talen Eleby, Rhayne White and Brayden Woods; and his pet Lacey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
