He was predeceased by: his father Jessie Ray Lyons; his daughter Helen L. Lyons; and his brother Jessie Lyons, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Peggy June Lyons (Seyler); his children, Michael Lyons, Jr., Suzanne Lyons Roberts (Dustin) and Georgina Wood (Terry); and his siblings, Gary J. Lyons, Charles S. Owens and Carolyn Owens. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
