He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Edmond "Jim" Cottrell and Moraine Gladys Cottrell (Baker); his wife Amaryllis Rose Cottrell (Benge); his brother Joseph Elzie Cottrell; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Jolene Cottrell (Kimbro).
He is survived by: his nieces, Lisa Keith (Clint) and Denise Kious (Monty). He is also survived by numerous great-nephews and nieces, extended family, and cherished friends.
