He is survived by: his wife Janice Richards (Wilson); his children, Tammy Edwards (Ken), Gary Lee Richards of Sallisaw, OK and Troy Richards of Sallisaw, OK; and his stepson Brian Whisenhunt (Jennifer). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel (904 E Shawntel Smith Blvd, Muldrow, OK 74948). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
