He was predeceased by : his parents, Barnie Albertson and Billie Irene Albertson (Pratt); and his siblings, Barnie Albertson Jr., James Albertson and Anna Welch.

He is survived by : his wife Amy; his children, Barbara Albertson, Lacy Albertson, Crystal Morse, Michael Albertson Jr., Micha Albertson and David Welch; and his sisters, Barbara Williams, Frances Parks and Susan Gehring. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
