We announce the death of Eual Rubin McCrite of Rose, Oklahoma, born in Cedarville, Arkansas, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 100. Eual will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eual will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Eual will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Eual’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Rose Helen McCrite (Eual Rubin McCrite); parents: James and Maude McCrite; brother: James (J. C.) McCrite; sister-in-law: Joan McCrite; sisters: Cleta, Jimmy Lee, and Alene; daughters: Mary Hawkins (Tom) and Rose Rovick (James); other: Deacon Tony, Father Francis; and eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and an abundance of friends.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (800 SW 4th St, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (800 SW 4th St, Moore, OK 73160).
In lieu of flowers or masses, donations in his memory to the St. Andrew Catholic Church Building Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
