It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Dean Loyd in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, born in Gridley, California, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Leslie Loyd and Ruby Mae Loyd (Pelly); his wife Selma Loyd (Knight); and his siblings, Michael Loyd, Jerry Loyd, Calvin Loyd and Wanda Loyd.

He is survived by : his son Larry Knight (Kim) of Wilburton, OK; his great grandchild Joe Knight Jr.; his siblings, Roy Loyd (Eva) of Marlow, Victor Loyd (Kathy) of Amarillo, TX, Darrel Loyd (Brondi) of Weatherford, Robert Loyd of Marlow, Pat Weyrick of Rush Springs, Mary Foster of Rush Springs and Lillian Terry of Amarillo, TX; and his great-niece Zora Weyrick of Rush Springs.
