It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Aker of Salina, Oklahoma, born in Bristow, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Edward Blaylock and Iva Lucille Blaylock (Lee); her husband Jack Aker; her granddaughters, Christi Jo Mellowbug and Shirley Jo Orr; her great grandchild Riley Denae Phelan; her brothers, Darrell "Bubby" Blaylock and Leon Blaylock; and her nephew Greg Blaylock.

She is survived by: her children, Terrie Phelan (Lynn) of Salina, Judy McFadden of Strang, Kelsey Panther (Desiree) of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Chase Mellowbug (Brianna) of Strang and Jared Mellowbug of Salina, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Ashley Jeffcoat of Pryor, Derrick Phelan (Jeanie) of Adair, Dustin Phelan of Salina and Curtis McFadden (Michelle) of Langley, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
