Leatha Hammer Obituary

Leatha Sue Hammer, 59, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 13, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Arthur Pennington and Darlene Spurgeon. Leatha loved to paint feathers, do beadwork, and she also enjoyed going fishing. In June of 2001, she married JB Hammer in Arkansas.

Leatha was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Graveside services for Leatha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Grass Cemetery with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service.

Leatha is survived by her husband, JB Hammer of Salina, Oklahoma; mother, Darlene of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, David Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Dena Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Joe Pennington and wife Kay of Collinsville, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Sadie; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur; and grandson.
