He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chambers; his children, Justin Merkey of Centerton, Arkansas, Skake Kingfisher of Salina, OK and Spencer Kingfisher (Chali) of Kenwood, OK; his brothers, Larry Hawkins (Vanessa) of Greenbrier, AR and Ronnie Hawkins (Shaelene) of Cedar Creek, TX; his grandchildren, Heaven Kingfisher, Lali Kingfisher, Stonehawk Kingfisher, Braiden Kingfisher, Calvert Kingfisher, Ira Merkey, Gracie Merkey and Jase Merkey; and his close friend Hattie Truax.
