He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Simmons; his daughter Tanis Cain; his brother Lee Cain; his godfather Clifton Fairchild; his nephew Mike Salls; and his pet Harley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cain; his children, Zachary Cain (Lori), Paige Ammons (Deserea) and Lace Ammons; his grandchildren, Logan, Zain, Isaiah, Maddison and Terra; his stepfather Gene Simmons; his godmother Denise Fairchild; his siblings, Bobby Cain (Carla), Susan Castillo (Ruben), Vanessa Stockmar, Jimmie Whorton (Coy), Rudy Hick and Shawn Hays; his close friend Homer Jones; his nephew Keith McDaniel (Miranda); his great-nephew Mikey Salls; his niece Lindsy; and his nephews, Colby and Danny. He is also survived by many cousins, fellow veterans, extended family members, and dear friends.
