He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hugh Baty and Mary Etta Gresham Baty; his wife Nettie Ellen Baty (Smith); his siblings, Gordon, Bob, Dale, Wayne, Doyle, Dewayne Baty, Freeda Keith, Janice Gray, Farrell Renfro, Joyce Cason, Lois Baty and Edith Baty; and his granddaughter Andrea Frizzell.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Owens (Jackie) of Gans, OK, Frizzell (Mike) of Heavener, OK, Alene Blackmon (Tommy) of Sallisaw, OK, Glenda Romano of Sallisaw, OK, Susan Pack (Garry) of Sallisaw, OK, Ramona Brewer (Todd) of Sallisaw, OK and Jimmy Ray "J. R." Baty of Akins, OK; his brother Lloyd Baty; his sister-in-law Mickie of Montgomery, TX; and his sister Cathi Laird (Gilbert) of Spring, TX. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
