He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Bird (Pettit) and Jim Bird; and his siblings, Juanita Adams, Charlie, Tuth, Bill and Robert Bird.
He is survived by: his son Jonathan Bird (Rebecca Nofire); his grandsons, Malachi Bird and Liam Bird; and his sisters, Eliza Stroup of Sallisaw, OK and Polly Poe of Comanche, OK. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery.
