Mary Charlene (Lessley) Walkingstick Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Charlene (Lessley) Walkingstick of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Louise Lessley (Floyd) and Samuel Clarence Lessley; her husband Louis Dwight Walkingstick, Sr.; and her siblings, Dorthene Pointer, Lawton Lessley and Bernie Lessley.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Frances Elliott of Sallisaw, OK and Louis Walkingstick, Jr. (Christy); her grandsons, Justin Benham, Matthew Walkingstick (Erica) and Samuel Walkingstick; her great grandchildren, Annastin Benham, Austin Benham, Caleb Walkingstick and Luke Walkingstick; and her brother Jimmy Lessley of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
