He is survived by: his wife Lou Carter (Robertson); his son Daniel Carter of Elmonte, California; his sisters, Patricia Warren of Fort Worth, Theresa Hale of Fort Worth and Kathy Stovall of The Woodlands, Texas; and his stepdaughters, Renee Wallace (Kevin) of Nacodoches and Krystal McIntire (John) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
