She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hill and Buena Vista Nicholson (Akin); her husband Robert W. Gorske; her siblings, Jesse Hill Nicholson, Omer Leroy Nicholson, Dortha Lee, Evelyn Witt and Jessie Fay Whitaker; and her nephews, John E. Nicholson and James Marlin Lee.
She is survived by: her brother Ira Everett Nicholson (Norma). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
