It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Jean Perkins of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Jamison and Grace Jamison; her siblings, Norwood, Gene, Perry, Bethel, Harvey, Marie, Ed and Dessie; and her husband David Truitt.

She is survived by: her siblings, J. D., Willie, Jim, Donna and Dorene; her children, Dorothy Holloway (Ken), Margie Williams, Larry Rice and Tom Rice (Regina); and her former husband E. P. Perkins. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
