It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert John Groene of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, born in Wadena, Minnesota, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Groene and Regina Groene; his brother Bob; and his wife Betty Tillman. He is survived by: his children, Steve Groene of South Lyon and Janet Groene of Catoosa; his grandson Nicholas Groene of South Lyon, Michigan; and his siblings, Tom Groene of Lawrence, Kansas and Pat Deibel of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
