Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wava Burt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, born in Longford, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 77, on May 7, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Torrence George and Adeline Sophia Clark (Brown); and her sister Noleen Binder. She is survived by: her children, Karla Burt Shaffer of Sand Springs and Kyle Burt (Patricia) of Adams; her sister Joan Franklin (Bob) of Northfield, Minnesota; her brother-in-law Merle Binder of McPherson, Kansas; and her grandson Deakon Shaffer of Sand Springs.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Liberal, Kansas, or Sand Springs United Methodist Church, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
