It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie James Higgins of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Willie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Melinda Higgins and Willie Washington of Hominy, OK; his wife Teresa; his sons, Samuel Higgins of Sand Springs and Noah Higgins of Sand Springs; his siblings, Charlie Higgins of Bakersfield, CA, Louis Sparks of Hominy, OK and Jamie Higgins of Hominy, OK; and his pet Stella. He is also survived by 6 nephews and 2 nieces.
