He was predeceased by: his parents, Amo Ausmus and Irene Ausmus (Norma Jean Ausmus); his sons, Andrew and Jon Ausmus; and his brothers, John and Milton Ausmus (Dutch).
He is survived by: his siblings, Ethel Davis, Winnie Romine (Gary), Winona Miller (Cecil) and Robert Ausmus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
