He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Lou Elmore and Rev. Benny Charles Toops; and his siblings, Richard Toops and Deborah Toops. He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Toops; his children, Emily Toops, Joseph Toops, Aimee Toops and Eric Toops; his grandson Nicholas Todd Niemann III; and his brothers, Tom (Lisa Toops), Albert (Tracy Toops) and Jerry (Beth Toops). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
