Gladys McCall Obituary

Gladys Lodie McCall, 68, of Sapulpa passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at St. John Medical Center, Sapulpa, OK. She was born on July 3, 1944 in Claremore, OK. to James and Angeline Brown of Sapulpa, OK. She was one of five children; she had one brother and three sisters, Eleanor Powell, Betty Jones, the late Sonny Brown and the late Judy Kelly.

She attended Sapulpa schools where she met and married Clifford Dewain McCall on March 31, 1962. They were married for 48 years and had three children, Michael Dewain McCall and wife Elizabeth of Verdigris, OK., James Clifford McCall of Sapulpa, OK., and Angelia Rae Pennington and husband Terry of Guthrie, OK.. She had eleven grandchildren, Michael McCall, Josh McCall, Stephan McCall, Shaina (McCall) Arnold, Chasity (McCall) Humphrey, James McCall, Jon McCall, Chris Pennington, Jeff Pennington, Samantha Pennington and Melanie Pennington; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Taryn McCall, Michael McCall, Morgan McCall, Tasha McCall, Jaxson Humphrey, Jasmine Humphrey, Conner McCall, Helki McCall, Isaiah McCall, Sanora McCall, Donavin McCall, Kyli Pennington, Hannah Pennington and Alyssa Pennington.

Gladys was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Mimi). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Smith Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa, OK. Officiating will be Boston Rowe and Steve Brown. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK.
