She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl R. Crawford and Pearl Crawford (Fowler); her husband Bill Carter; her daughter Sheila Sue; her brothers, George Murel May and Earl R. Crawford, Jr.; and her niece Lisa Kelin Eshelman.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Fumie May of Glenpool; her nieces, June May Harp of Sapulpa and Teri May Rogers of Miami; Delores Jean Philpott of Waskom, Texas.. She is also survived by six great-nieces; two great-nephews.
