He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Smith of Sapulpa; and his siblings, Doug Bachar and Helen Bachar of Kansas City, Missouri..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Traditions Funeral Chapel (35 Main St, Kellyville, OK 74039).

He loved visiting, donating, and making things for her students.
