He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Ada Kindsfather (Hess); his wife Donna; his father Roy Kindsfather; his in-laws, Harvey Lee and Jo Ellen McClure; his uncle Frank; his aunt Dorothy Nikkel; his brother Donnie Kindsfather; and his sister-in-law Judy Kindsfather.

He is survived by: his daughter Jaimea Vanderpoel (Kindsfather); his son-in-law Michael Vanderpoel of Frisco, TX; his son Jarren Kindsfather; his daughter-in-law Mikie Kindsfather of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Kaiden Vanderpoel, Bryce Vanderpoel, Avery Vanderpoel, Jaxen Kindsfather and Macie Kindsfather.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sayre Church of Christ (502 N 6th St, Sayre, OK 73662). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Erick Cemetery.
