It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Fortner in Seminole, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Short Fortner and Bea Brooks Fortner; his siblings, Ellis Fortner, Dennis Fortner, David Fortner and Patsy Young; and his great grandchild Ryan Clifford.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Kenneth Alan Fortner (Sheryl) of Lula, Tamara Kidney (Bill) of Bonham, TX, Pamela Sampson of Ada and Shelley York (Robert) of Owl Creek; his sister Joy Vaught of Wanette; his grandchildren, Jared, Daniel Clifford, Ashley Crittenden, Lesley Seymour, Kody Fortner, Jordyn Thompson, Jessika Boyd and Ryan York; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Morgan Clifford, Emi, Everly Seymour, Kole, Ridlee Fortner, Jakus Boyd, Wyatt York, Beau Thompson and Rylee Crittenden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Criswell Funeral Home (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Point Missionary Baptist Church (305 E Broadway, Allen, OK 74825).
