She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hobbs and Dorothy Hobbs (French); her husband Harold Dean Arter, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Bonita Arter; and her brothers, Thomas Hobbs and Eddie Sherfield.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Nichols (Greg) of Poteau, Oklahoma. and Harold Dean Arter, Jr. of Shady Point, Oklahoma.; her grandsons, Brent Nichols, Wesley Arter (Daisy) and Spencer Arter; and her great grandchild Dean J. Arter.
