Billie Canaday Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Canaday of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billie Canaday to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morrie and Edna C. Hill (Creel); her son John Canaday; her grandson Ian Canaday; and her siblings, Morrie Hill and Barbara White.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ragsdale of Yukon, James Canaday of Centerville, OH, David Canaday (Jennifer) of Johnston, IA and Michael Canaday (Beth) of Shawnee; and her granddaughters, Allie, Ash, Lauren and Lexy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers; donations may be made in Billie's honor to the Dementia Society of America.
