He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker C. Riddle and Flossie Riddle; his wife Kathy Riddle; his sons, John Riddle and Gery Monk; his siblings, Garry Riddle, Kenny Riddle and Francis Riddle; and his grandchildren, Jessica Barber and Brian Stancell.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Riddle, Barbra Hayes (Gary), Louann Barber (Keith), Rebekah Hooker (Waylon), Deborah Smith (Jeremy) and Dara Badger (Curtis); and his siblings, Barbara Fincher, Clifford Riddle (Debbie) and Boyd Riddle (Charlotte). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
