He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Sledge and Natoma Sledge. He is survived by: his wife Christina Sledge; his daughter Hannah Sledge-Gregory; his son-in-law Matthew Gregory; his granddaughter Abby Gregory; his son Christopher Hudson; his daughter-in-law Lauren Dull; his granddaughter Madison Hudson; his daughter Bailey Rodriguez; his granddaughter Rae Amburn; his brother Timothy; his sister-in-law Shelly Sledge; his nieces and nephews, Kali Sledge, Emily Longo, Kody Rust, Allison Davidson, Ian Davidson and Scotty Hazelwood; his cousins, Kara Basler, Marcus Ticer, Kevin Paxton and Krista Dudley; his aunts, Linda Paxton, Francie Guerrero and Sherry Basler; and his uncle Craig Sledge.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (501 N Broadway St, Tecumseh, OK 74801).

“I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Cary over 20 years ago at Staples in Shawnee. We were the first two employers hired. He was the electronic lead, and was over the office furniture. We stayed in touch over the years. Wherever it was his time at Marquis furniture, Harbor freight, Auto Zone. He the last time he was excited working from home. He was more than a friend to me. He was one of the good ones. God bless my friend. And prayers for his family.”
