With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Mitchell Thompson in Shawnee, Oklahoma, born in Altus, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Becky Thompson; his grandfather Dan H. Thompson; his uncle Kent Thompson; his great-grandparent Opal Whattaker; and his grandmother Carrie Uzzel.

He is survived by: his father Danny Thompson; his grandmother Rita Meadows; his sister Jordan; his brother-in-law Anthony Buoy; his nieces and nephews, Emma Buoy, Beckett Buoy and Wyatt Buoy; his aunts and uncles, Roger (Donna Thompson), Troy (Raquel Thompson), Terry (Paula Uzzel) and Tim Uzzel (Christy Uzzel); and his cousins, Tracy Hackett, Issac Thompson, Kelso Thompson, Willy Thompson, Bethany Mancini and Allison Groeber.
