She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clayton and Hazel Lee Jones (Simpson); her husband Fred Akin; and her brother Leroy Jones. She is survived by: her daughter DeAnna Thomas of Tulsa; her son-in-law Chuck Thomas of Tulsa; her son Dean Akin of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Matt Thomas (Theresa), Lindsey Thomas, Spencer Thomas and Andrew McKinney (Mallory); her great grandchildren, Mia Thomas, Madison Thomas, Emma McKinney and Ava McKinney; and her pets, Toby and Beau. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
