She was predeceased by: her husband Luis R. Hernandez; her parents, Jubensio Gonzales and Azucena Gonzales; and her brothers, Jubensio Jr. and Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Victor M. Hernandez (Lisa), Luis R. Hernandez Jr. and Betty Jo Hernandez; and her siblings, Sue H. Jones, Linda Vigil and Speedy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
