She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer O'Neal and Hazel Thomson O'Neal; her husband Jon Roy McCown; her parents-in-law, Duane and Beth McCown; and her siblings-in-law, Robert, Richard McCown and Patricia McCown Patton (Bill).

She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri (Artie Payne), Jamie (Michael Moucka), Jacque (Joe Honeycutt) and Jonna Abernathy; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Alisha Payne), Justin (Christy Payne), Mysti Moucka, Chanse (Sarah Moucka), Sean (Keili Moucka), Kristofer Moucka, Jon Rocket and Charity Abernathy; and her great grandchildren, Caitlin Hathcock (Gant), Benjamin Payne, Owin Payne, Taylor Thompson, Rylee Thompson, Trey Thompson, Thea Moucka, Reed Moucka, Fynn Moucka, Navy Reese and Evi Abernathy.

The family has requested donations be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation in lieu of flowers.
