She is survived by: her husband John; her daughter Aimee; her sister Debbie; her brothers-in-law, John Benson, Richard (Karen Canavan), Barry (Ann Canavan) and Jim (Peggy Canavan); and her nieces and nephews, Grant Benson (Katherine), Megan Wallace (Brett), Nick Canavan (Elizabeth), Kaitlyn McKenney (Robert), Steven Canavan, Rachel Canavan, John Williamson, Whitney Canavan and Brian Canavan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Diane's name to the American Heart Association.
