James Rufus Fixico Obituary

We announce the death of James Rufus Fixico of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Fixico and Edna Mae Fixico (Harjo); his wife Judy; and his sister Patricia Hubbard. He is survived by: his sons, James, Jr. and Anthony "Jacob" Fixico of Durango, Colorado; his brothers, Stan Fixico of Choctaw and Kenny Fixico of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Gunner (Abby Fixico), Sydney (Jared Backaloo), Alexandria (Christopher Kinney), Teyan Fixico and Jonah Fixico; his brothers, Marae (Hunter Yarbrough) and Kenyon Vessell; and his great grandchildren, Garret, Asher, Bo, Milo, Remington, Teagan and Alena.
