He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Martha Northstrom (Betty) and Lonnie Don Hawkins (late DeAnn); his brother Brad Hawkins; his wife Joni; his son Derek; his brother Neal; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Pittman (Joshua), Cailin Werner (Cole) and Elizabeth Stingley (Justin); and his grandchildren, Josiah, Garrett, Emma, Colten, Cyler, Caden and Luciella.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you honor his memory with a donation to the Red Dirt Relief Fund, a nonprofit that supports Oklahoma musicians in critical need.
